Santa is a perv

He watches your children all year before he breaks into your home while you're asleep. He lures them to his lap like the Siren to ships. He hides in plain sight. His address isn't listed so you'll never be able to find him. Who is that perv name? He has many alias but must call him Santa Claus. Merry Christmas lol

Tumblr In Talks With Yahoo; Facebook And Microsoft Also Said To Be Circling

http://www.technobuffalo.com/2013/05/17/facebook-microsoft-tumblr-acquisition/

Acquiring Tumblr won’t be quite as simple as shelling out $1 billion. If Yahoo really wants the popular blogging service, it’ll have to participate in a royal rumble with Facebook and Microsoft, according to new report from Forbes. Right now, Yahoo is currently in lockup negotiations, meaning Tumblr can’t field other offers. But competitors are circling in, putting immense pressure on Marissa Mayer to finalize a deal. Tumblr has an enormously fervent following of younger teens and adults, a key demographic Yahoo wants to attract as it moves beyond its aging readers. And although Facebook currently has over a billion users on its social network, not to mention Instagram under its belt, Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly interested in an acquisition as well. Microsoft, too, is interested in Tumblr’s growing popularity and young followers. Last year, Tumblr CEO David Karp told Forbes that he was wary of what an acquisition could mean. Karp said he didn’t want to sell to a company only to see that company dismantle what he’s built. However, if a company bought out Tumblr and merely left the company alone, that’s a different story. Discussions between Yahoo and Tumblr are reportedly so far along that an offer is imminent; Marissa Mayer is waiting on Yahoo’s board to approve. “She is said to favor an outright acquisition rather than an investment or partnership,” Forbes said. If a deal does go through, Karp would reportedly remain Tumblr’s CEO. SOURCE FORBES

Bethesda in Maryland Tops Forbes’s List of 10 Best U.S. Cities to Find Jobs - International Business Times

By Vittorio Hernandez | April 24, 2013 2:40 PM EST
Five years after the global financial crisis hit in 2008 and Wall Street crashed, unemployment remains a top problem in the United States. Across the 50 states, the unemployment rate is 7.6 per cent in March, slightly down from 7.7 per cent in February 2013.
It is still higher than the average of 5.81 per cent from 1948 to 2013.
However, there are some cities that logged better employment rates than others. Forbes Magazine compiled the top 10 U.S. cities where employment opportunities are higher based on statistics provided by human resources company Adecco Staffing which in turn sources it from the U.S. Department of Labor.
Here are the top 10.
1.     Bethesda, Maryland - This city enjoyed the lowest unemployment rate of 5.2 per cent as of February 2013. Jobs are available at hospitality, construction and healthcare sectors, while skills in demand include specialty trade contractors, accounting and bookkeeping and food service. Besides being the best place to find work, Bethesda is also number one on Forbes's list of the country's most educated small towns, on CNNMoney's top-earning American towns and second on Forbes's most livable cities.

Are Humans Becoming Obsolete?

Do We Still Need A Human?
I went to Bank Of America today to add some cash to my account. I also wanted to make some changes to the account. I had some great customer service too. Only thing that was different, I was talking to a person who wasn't there. I started to think to myself about all the self service places I frequent. The gas station, the grocery store, now the self service banks. Will digital technology replace the human worker?

I can understand the self checkout line at the Whole Foods store. I don't believe it will be 100 percent machines because nobody would want to bag up $150 worth of food. It's kind of hard when you are only using one hand because the other is using Twitter. Lol. (Laughing out loud)

Also CLICK here to read the article based on ATM's:

Here's the short summary.
ATMs are getting a new face — literally, a human face. Some bank customers are already encountering what might be called ATM cyborgs, in which a machine includes a screen showing a bank teller’s head. The teller, in a remote location connected via webcam, is able to perform tasks that traditionally have been handled only by bank employees in person, such as check cashing. The system allows banks to save money that might have been spent staffing individual branches, at the same time that customers can interact and be served by an actual human being, rather than just another computer.

The webcam-enabled ATM is just one of the methods banks are testing in their ever-evolving quest to trim their costs without losing customers. “Banks are under a lot of pressure to make their branches profitable,” says Jeff Dudash, spokesman for ATM manufacturer NCR Corporation. Next-generation ATMs not only let banks and credit unions cut down on the number of tellers needed at branches, they allow financial institutions to offer face-to-face services outside of regular business hours. There’s also a security advantage, since a would-be bank robber can’t physically threaten a teller who’s not there in person.

According to a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, some of America’s biggest banks are experimenting with these high-tech ATMs. And the experiments seem to be working: After installing machines that cash checks in a small number of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. branches, the number of check-cashing transactions processed by tellers fell 40% at the locations.

Family Friends & Forever

In the mist of our journeys we have family, friends and relationships. As we grow we can grow closer or grow apart. When we no longer share the common interested its only so much we can do as far as forcing a friendship to exist now. A lot of times we confused having fun with having a friend. Are we really friends with all our family members. Sometimes the only thing we have in common with certain family members is bloodline. That should be stronger than the average friendship but sometimes it's not. There is a chance that being related to someone isn't always a good thing. By that, I mean you have no choice but to share the same bloodline. I are related with certain members no matter what. That don't mean we have to be in contact just because we are related. We might be related but we have no type of relationship. It's a default relationship due to our relatives. Maybe it's best to have a chose of your association even if they are related. Some family members even you the "we're family" speech to attempt manipulation. Some friends do the same. It's a new year with means nothing but I have my two cents to give. No matter how many friends and family members you have, don't confuse the good times with the meaningful times. Don't expect everyone to understand your growth as a human being. Best friends can become strangers if both parties don't expect growth. Respect.
I guess everybody can't live like the TV show Friends.
